The MiLife platform was specially created with You and your family in mind. My wife Desire asked me some time ago for the whereabouts of our Will and copies or a summary of our insurance policies and I could not answer her immediately. I knew that I had copies of the docs somewhere on a PC but was not sure if they were current and relevant. That made me decide to create this platform together with friend Jacques Barnard with the assistance of Jaycen Dale; IT professional. The need for document control was expanded to cover all aspects of one’s life with the functionality to be reminded of important dates such as birthdays and expiry of licences, managing finances, logging of lessons learned, defining one’s life purpose and goals and important events.
The security of your and our personal data is important and we have taken the necessary steps to ensure the safeguarding thereof. The data is hosted on the Microsoft Azure server which is the world’s number 1 encrypted data base. The site also has a SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) which is the standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a web server and a browser. This link ensures that all data passed between the web server and browsers remain private and integral. In addition, we also recommend that you password protect important documents stored on MiLife.
